CENTRAL TEAM

Here to help the Caterfood Buying Group be as successful as possible, here’s a snapshot of some of the key people in our Central Team, their roles and their backgrounds.

Phil Atyeo

Managing Director

Phil is our incredibly down-to-earth, humble and accomplished Managing Director, who has an extensive background in business, sales and people management.

Having always worked in the food industry for 30 plus years, his first management role was in a supermarket where he worked his way up, before he took on the challenge of running an independent wholesaler for seven years. Phil then tried his hand in a larger corporate company and worked at Bidfood for 17 years, where his depot became the most profitable depot in the Bidcorp estate, before taking on his current role as our MD.

Phil likes to keep things simple, but enjoys a challenge and doesn’t necessarily take the easy route! Phil has a bold vision for the Caterfood Buying Group and is passionate about creating a strong network of independent businesses which share the same culture and values; being passionate about our people, building customer relationships and providing exceptional food. This is who we are.
